Hi there ,
The pulse coil is 360 to 410 ohms. also the check black to ground and it should have no continuity
The exciter coil has a brown and yellow wires the peak voltage should be 34 Volts DC with engine running at idle .
The exciter coil ohms reading is 5.4 to 7.3 ohms. also the check brown to ground should be 0 ohms resistance

If you still have the Ducati ignition system(combo cdi and coil pack) I wouldn't bother on testing as this system has been replaced with an updated Kokusan ignition kit on the 2002 to early 2004 models. Don't buy used or even new parts on Ebay, etc as they will fail. Kits include a new stator, flywheel, cdi ,coil, regulator, jumper wires and instructions. Around $500 for the #2202602 kit. Not cheap, but if you find that the coil pack is bad and replace it,if (matter of when really) the stator fails, you can't find one and it upgrades to the kit anyway. Sorry, but if the flywheel still says Ducati it won't work with the new system. Even if it is a Kokusan flywheel, buying the later model 2004 Kokusan stator, cdi, coil and regulator by the piece would cost close to $700 and wouldn't have the necessary jumper wires to complete the install that the kit has. #2 on the website is the complete kit with instructions.
