Trail Boss 330 Carb Removal
#21
Same problem we had for years on all the ecm modules.. We'd get a few in for recalled machines and they were gone within a day. We even started a list on "promised" ecms for customers as they came in. After 8 years seems like Polaris should have gotten their act together. Sorry for the delay..

FINALLY! It only took two months but I finally got my replacement ECM today!
Now I just need to install it and make sure everything else works!
Funny thing OPT, while you noted the "bad" ECMs where made in China, and the original replacement ECMs were made in the USA, the "NEW" replacement ECMs (Part number 4011831) are made in Mexico!
Let's hope Polaris finally got it right. On account they can't keep them in stock, I doubt it.
Other than a good battery is there anything electronic I should check and/or reset after installing the new ECM?

Nothing left to check other than it's charging around 14 volts or so back to the battery while idling with the new ecm. Hope the Mexican made ecm holds up for you better than the old one.
