34 green goes to the headlights so you're probably reading through the lamp filaments to ground- normal , I'd check into the ground on the r/w wire . It goes to the #1 r/w spice , there's six wires there , isolate them and and see which one is grounded , good luck , you're getting close !

Indeed I was reading through the lamp filaments, for some reason I assumed they'd have a higher amount of resistance. Anyway, I unplugged the CDI and now the fuse doesn't get blown! The display even comes on. I unplugged the first connector, where 11 R/W goes. I'll have to see if there's a short beyond that point or if the CDI is faulty.

Hello, Umad. I see you're from Upstate New York. I'm from upstate NY Aswell.
I have a 2006 Polaris Hawkeye Aswell i picked up from Johnstown,NY. I'm wondering if it's the same one because my fuse keeps blowing as soon as i turn the key. LOL. Did you ever end up figuring it out?

I believe it's my ignition control module. I'm on vacation until the weekend, when I get back I can take a photo of the plug I unplugged to test the module for you.

Well I forgot to message back, but indeed it was my ignition control module. Bought an aftermarket one that doesn't work either so I'm starting a new thread about that.
