Default Front CV Joint Boot Replacement

How do I get the CV joint apart so I can replace the boot? I can't get at the clip. It's different then the rear! Help!!
It's a 02 sportsman 400.

Just take a brass hammer or a dead blow to keep from buggering up the cv joint and while holding the cv,just whack the rear end of it.Should pop off. May take a little force. Circlip will stay on the shaft. Slide the boot on the shaft when ready, align the splines on the shaft and cv joint, have the nut on the end of the shaft, whack it on,check that the circlip has seated, then install the rest of the grease in the boot and cv joint, work it all around, then slide the boot in place then the clamps. I do the job without taking the hub apart. I just pop the axle off and change the boot and for a clamp I use a metal tie strap. Saves time and money. I get metal tie straps at Home Depot or Walmart.
