Front CV Joint Boot Replacement
#2
Just take a brass hammer or a dead blow to keep from buggering up the cv joint and while holding the cv,just whack the rear end of it.Should pop off. May take a little force. Circlip will stay on the shaft. Slide the boot on the shaft when ready, align the splines on the shaft and cv joint, have the nut on the end of the shaft, whack it on,check that the circlip has seated, then install the rest of the grease in the boot and cv joint, work it all around, then slide the boot in place then the clamps.
