Well another thing I was wondering about is can I put a a carburetor from a 400 on this 250? I read this in a different forum. It said that it would give it more take off power. If so do I need to adjust the oil injection?

 

The 250 and 300 engines use a 30mm carb. 400 uses a 34 mm carb. Jetting is different on both as well. Fix the mechanical problems that you mention on yours and the stock carb would work fine. If you're trying to try to get more power out of the 250,places are out there that can do that,but at a cost.Or simply find a larger machine.Hpd 250 Trail Blazer

oh yeah and I am going to get that fixed first. was just thinking about a little extra something while I do it.
