Default Polaris 2006 HAWKEYE4X4 CARBURETOR

I trying to remove the carburetor from my hawkeye but can't get it out of the quad the too clutch vents are there do I have to take them off to take the carb out? Because if I do I have to take half the quad apart?

I tried taking out the side the choke and throttle cable come in but just can't get it to fit pass the frame and motor other carbs I took out always come out the top but with the vents there I just cant get it to pass.

Worst Polaris model I found to try to work on the carb.. I just popped off the tank cover, side panels and persuaded the air ducts wide enough to get the carb up between them. About as hard putting it back in seems like. Doesn't help any that the air box itself is molded into the rear plastic also.Didn't sell too many of the Hawkeyes at our shop and didn't enjoy working on them one bit.Seems like everything was built around the carb.Others that own one may be able to help you a little more.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

I have the side panels off the clips so that I can move the vents a bit but I will take them off and give it a try thanks
