Working on a sportsman500 efi for a buddy

Replaced spedo cluster from a rollover, new battery, new starter solenoid bike runs and starts fine with pull start, But when using ignition key start bike doesnt turn over and fan instantly kicks on, any ideas? Thanks in advance

 

Check the connections on the left hand control switch,plus check with the key turned to start position and see if there is power to the small wire at the solenoid. If no power,then check the ignition switch and wiring.Problem could be anywhere in the harness,may have to strip it down if you can't see an obvious problem.If you can't figure it out,might be best to have a cheap service manual that includes the wiring schematic.2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI Service Manual PDF Download
