04 600 plastic removal

Default 04 600 plastic removal
Cant seem to get the front plastic off my 04.5 600. Have it all loose but can't get it past left side handlebar and pod? Is there a trick to it?

Pull the front cab up and turn it sideways.Get it over one bar end,slide over and work it off the other bar. Just reverse to reinstall it.
