If you have a press you can rebuild the crank your self. All you have to do is get the new rod and bearing. There are plenty of videos on you tube showing how to rebuild cranks. I rebuild all of mine at home on a 12 ton press. And a dial caliper.

Everything I have read this particular crank can't be rebuilt. Even the pros will not touch it.

Do you have a pic of the crank. I'v been rebuilding all of mine for about ten years. And I have not found any that I could not rebuild. The hardest part is getting the con rod 100% straight. once you do that the rest is easy.

Yes you can get the rod dimension, pin, bearings needed, but Polaris doesn't offer that info, just complete cranks. Crank Werks,Hot Rods rebuilds them along with several others, but most concentrate on the 800 cranks for the Rzrs. Shame though as I know most twin sled engines have rebuild kits that Polaris offers in their model parts list catalog. Polaris just lists it as an assembly. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Here's a Rzr crank rebuilt from Crank Werks.

Let me refer you to this thread https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...rankshaft.html If you still think it is possible I will send pictures. Here is a main quote. SPORTSMAN70003 is correct.
Once you press any of the Polaris twins crankshafts apart, it's pretty much garbage.
It's a destructive process. That's why most guys who replace one, pin them for strength.
I did try doing this, after 4 different shops told me it couldn't be done.
They were right.

I have done a lot of research on this crank. And yes it can be rebuilt. The hardest part is getting it trued up. The key to any crank rebuild is heat and cold. Now If you can find the con rods, rods, bearings for this crank I can rebuild it for you. So if you are up to it send me some pics of the crank. My email is robert301972@yahoo.com ((The one who says it can't be done. Is always interrupted by the one who just did it))
