Best to really replace the drive shaft as an assy. Costs more doing it joint by joint. New drive shaft may cure the problem, plus if the circlip area recess in the rear diff gear case sprocket is worn it may cause the joint to pop out, plus even rear shocks that are worn can cause excess pressure on drive shafts when they squat down and yank em out. Try adjusting stiffness of spring settings on shocks and see if that helps first.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Niche-IndustriesTuff-Axle-Rear-Drive-Shaft-Polaris-Sportsman-500-RSE-1999-2001-/321691479390?hash=item4ae64e6d5e&vxp=mtr
