I wonder if the vehicles are used behind the lines. For every soldier on the front line there are probably three others behind in support. I think the Jeeps of 75 years ago were used to transport people over rough terrain, but not necessarily to drive into battle.

So these RZRs are likely utility vehicles behind the lines, or around the base. "Private, take the RZR to the PX and get me a beer."
