Hey guys.picked up a new to me 01 scrammy 500. When you give it a lot of gas it sounded like the chain was slipping. Checked out the chain and sprocket and replaced the front one. It didn't solve the issue. Anyone have any other suggestions on what to look for?

 

Check out the belt and clutches. If they're ok, could be an internal silent chain in the gear case stretched and jumping teeth. Another common problem on sport machines.
