Default 1998 polaris scrambler starting problem

Old Polaris Tec....Had the old scrambler out and the 4X4 worked flawlessly so THX again for your help. Had another problem with the machine, just out of the blue it would not start, then it would start, then it would not start (the starter runs but it wont fire). I removed the red hood cover and with the palm of my hand pressed down on the birds nest of wires while pressing the start button and it fires right up and when its running it never stalls out. It must be a connection under the hood but I have no idea which one to look at, any advice would be appreciated again...

Check connections from the stator wiring to the cdi and also the blue/white single wire from the cdi to the coil. Could be the problem is in this area. Plus check that all the spade terminals are tight on the circuit board.
