I am not sure tbh. That wanted $275 to blast and powder coat (4) 15" wheels. I may try a single barrel blaster and worse case in out $100 more.

Just an update but I went to freight again and bought the single blaster and I have to say I'm impressed. They did give me a bad one the first trip but I exchanged it and was able to do a little bit tonight.

Just in case anyone else wants to blast here is what I'm using which works.

80 grit glass
Craftsman 2hp 30 gallon compressor
Harbor freight single barrel 40 lb blast kit.

I did buy a truck compressor because I obsessed over the CFM and Psi requirements but I haven't needed it. Not sure if I will keep or return it although the extra power would be nice with all my projects.

Already had to take one new one back?? Looking good, but I wouldn't have high hopes on the blaster lasting after you get the frame done.I'd try to have all bead blasting projects lined up to where when it does give out at least you can say you got what you paid for.

Update -- I got a little bit more blasting done but it's been a pain. I wasted 40 or so lbs finding the sweet spot and my original compressor cannot keep up. Today I got things going good where I wasn't wasting all of the media and I blew a hole in the ball valve. Lol (still had to wait on the compressor)

This was probably from trying to blast at 125 psi, glass 70 grit so I've learned a lesson.

Gotta replace the ball valve, get fittings, regulator and a desiccant air dryer for the more suited compressor.

Thanks William I think it was for mentioning spray guns. I picked up a sprayit kit to prime and apply chassis saver and if I like how it goes I'm going to pick up a tekna prolite.

One day this will be done

Looking good! Check the frame over for cracks, especially around control arm mounts.
