Check with your Polaris dealer, the Glacier plows are one of the best on the market.

Good luck.

Here's just somewhere to start...Go with at least the 54" or the 60" cause the 48" is too narrow when you angle the blade..JMO

It's nice to have a few extra inches of blade on each side to keep you from driving on the edge of the snow you just plowed. It has a tendency to roll back in front of the tires with a narrow plow. If like me you don't angle the blade a 52" or 54" plow works great. I can even do my sidewalk that I wouldn't be able to plow with a 60" blade without angling it all the way. I like to push all my snow into one big pile.

P.S. You'll have more than enough power to use a 60" blade.

I have a glacier plow on my x2. The mount is way to weak for serious plowing. I have had to remove the mount many times to hammer it straight. I have upgraded all the bolts to heavier stainless bolts but it didn't help. I ordered a new mount yesterday and I'm going to have a welding shop reinforce it.

Which Glacier do you have? My friend, after 11 winters of plowing needs a new mount, hope they are still available.

My G3 mount is good and strong.

I have the original Glacier plow and it's a strong solid mount. The only one I heard of that had problems was the Glacier II plow. I heard a lot of complaints about them bending.

I have the glacier 2 plow on an 06 x2. The mount is a joke. very weak. I ordered a new mount and was going to have it reinforced. No need. The new one has been modified by polaris. Should be a lot stonger.
