my guage pod blinks non stop and has for about 2 years, runs fine, but I need to fix it. I'm sure its the in tank guage/float/ sending unit, was wanting to find out the cross referenced part number for NAPA or carquest that was on here approximately 2 yrs ago. I did search the forum but was unsuccessful finding it. Can anyone help me out? Its an 07 sportsman 500 EFI.

 

May or may not be your problem,but I've had the float arms stuck against the tank and have bent the arm a bit to free the floats on several machines. Plus even floats are available if yours is saturated.FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT FLOAT - Polaris ATV - X2, Sportsman 500, 700, 800, Can-Am Renegade - DJSFLOAT Polaris sending unit itself(2410554) is NLA,but may be some crossovers out there if the sending unit is faulty.Plus here's a good post on this from a member of Polaris Atv Forums.Troubleshooting 2006 Sportsman 700 Fuel Pump, Fuel Gauge, and Fuel Pressure Regulator - Polaris ATV Forum
