I'm looking to upgrade the power on this Atv, I've seen vids of air box mods and pipes , plan on doing the pro circuit full system , opening the air box a bit uni filter , jetting, I'm wondering what clutch spring I should switch to ? And weights ? For the primary I'm gonna go with a brand new primary I have some damage on the original and I'm sure spring weights are wore there is quite a bit of play , I'm open to any suggestions to really make this thing pull harder it does about 60 , maybe a bit more ,is it possible ,honestly to make this thing outrun a 400ex at least till it topped out ? And I also thought of going with bigger tires like 25" to gain more top speed , has anyone done this ? I'm open to all suggestions, I've been trying to sell it but no real takers, I don't hate it just wanted a bit more speed , so now I'm thinking of keeping it ,doing the mods maybe 1k/1500 I could make it a different machine

No I hadn't seen it , I had a 425 magnum couple years ago and couldn't find anything to increase power, I also have a sportsman 450 07 now, that I may do a bit to , it's the girlfriends ride , I was hoping someone with a scrambler would chime in on what exactly worked for them ? What clutch set up made biggest improvements ?

 

You can gain about 10 HP with a stage 5 kit but i personally wouldn't do it. I think you get more for your money with a stage 2 or 3 kit. Aaen Performance - Polaris ATV 500
