Good power for 550 cc engine, great on-board storage, very comfortable ride, nice package. Only con I can think of is that they have gone to a 570 now and eventually the 550 parts are going to be harder to find. Probably pretty good for the next few years. With low miles like that it's a good deal.
This is the modern version that costs $9699: 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP Hunter Edition : Features

Like anything used it is all about how it was cared for. Ad sounds like it was buy only a personal inspection can tell for sure. Next question is......is that the one your looking for? If you were looking for a race quad and settled for a utility quad just because it was in good condition will be regretted later on, but id that is the exact model you wanted all along then that makes it a better deal. Check it over with a fine tooth comb and let us know. Being a Polaris....should not have any difficulty in getting parts or accessories for it.

Appreciate the feedback. Yes, this very much what I'm looking for, a 4x4 utility ATV with power steering and winch. I'd like camo, cause I hunt.
Owner said doesn't have a title for this machine. Should that be a red flag? I'm going to have a look at it here in an hour. I'll update soon.

It has title. I saw it, along with all original paper work, invoice from dealer when he purchased ($10,500). Said he got good deal on it. Verified only ~350 miles, 25 hours.
Options included:
Polaris winch, $379 (w/ extra switch)
Front lock and ride storage container, $170
Heated hand grips, $55
ATV Cover, $150
Rear rack extender, $99
Dust covers for shocks, ?
Custom hitch (he's a welder), ?
Drove around block...gets up and goes. No leaks, no scratches, just a little dusty from riding dirt roads. Honestly, it looks brand-damn new.
He's probably mid 20's, has just purchased second Harley, has nice Silverado and an S-10 project truck in his garage (low rider). Welder, travels a lot...seems like nice guy. We talked for probably 40 minutes.
Asking $6,000, I talked him down to $5,200. NADA book value is $7,400, low retail is $5,611.
Talking over with the wife...I think I'm going to be the proud new owner of a 2013 Sportsman 550 Browning Edition.

Sounds like a good deal. Original price of $6000 was a bit high but $5200 sounds pretty reasonable. Dealers will tack on extra fees and taxes so the same quad at a dealer would cost considerably more. The extras included, most notably the winch and extra storage, sound like stuff you probably would have bought yourself and now you don't have to.
