Yea regular grease is fine.. I was just a mechanic too long.. Seal grease we used was real smooth and green colored that we used for fork and shock seals when we rebuilt them.

welp, took the caliper back apart and replaced the smallest o rings, took emery cloth and really cleaned up the 2 halves, and boom..no more caliper seepage..got pedal and handle...doubt it will lock the rears but its good to go!
