You would think with all the hits ATV connection gets that they would do whatever it takes to keep the servers in top notch shape. Surfing these forums lately is like using an old 9600 dialup modem. Anyone else having problems?

i hear ya. my comp is like the banshee of the internet, with tons of power and a cable modem. but it's slower than heck!

 

I agree. I can click on a topic I want to view, go fix a sandwich, go to the store for a six pack, drink the six pack, watch an episode of Howard Stern, and wash the truck before the topic will download. Whoever runs this place PLEASE FIX THIS!

I agree. It's getting worse, it seems, all the time. I like coming here, but I don't like the waiting at all. Why don't some of you come to the ATVMasters...it's got alot more neat features than this website...we just need more people!

I just got cable modem the other day,man I wish I did it along time ago it is super fast everywhere but here.I just down loaded the new DirectX 8a version from Micro Soft in 30 seconds and it said it should take aprox. 37 min. I think the server here is run by old dual 486 proccessors.

 

I hear Ya!!!!! i just got a new computer, super fast 1.4 GHz pentium 4 processor w/60 Gb hard drive and a cable modem, no lie...not to brag. i can download an entire cd in about 10 min. but it takes me 20 min. to view a topic on this forum. someone needs to pass teh word on to the big guy in charge here that the engine driving this forum just BLEW up. just my .o2 cents
