I do oil, tranny, rear diff annually (or more depending on miles) and front diff at least twice a year. I stick with OEM fluids since it isn't really that much more expensive than other synthetics. Also, if you are under warranty or have an extended warranty you will want to use OEM and keep receipts in case you ever run in to needing warranty work.

Magnusson Moss prevents manufacturers like Polaris from denying warranty based on not using their fluids.

That being said, I use the Polaris trans/rear diff fluid, and the Hilliard fluid. I have tried Amsoil, but I drive by a Polaris dealer twice a day, so I frequent them.

True, they can't deny if using other fluids but if you don't keep receipts/records good luck. My dealership knows how hard/where I ride but they also know I maintain it and have never had an issue with any warranty work. May also help with resale if/when you sell or trade it in if using oem fluids/following factory maintenance intervals.

Accurate service records will help with resale, most people don't care what fluids are used.

Just keep accurate records and you will be fine.

The average general trail riding is 1hr = 10 miles. I have 35 hours and the ATV is at 3600 miles.
If a ATV has high hours and low miles that means it idles a lot or does slow jobs like blowing snow.
If it has low hours with high miles that means the ATV does a lot of open road gravel high speed riding at 45 mph or faster all day long.
