Lurch is right!! 50 more cc than a blaster but in a race on pavement they will get ya in top end. Off the line i win but it isn't long before my friend passes me. If the TB was a 5 speed we could spank the blasters. Spend $400 at hotseat and you will hang with a scrambler 400. Just get a speed kit. Now when you weigh the pro's and con's, the TB is the best for the buck. Don't let a straight-away race bum you out!! Just go ride some trails and roll over some logs!!! It is always fun watching the blaster get high centered. And it's fun watching them hop off their quads to push it back away from a tree!!

I think the top speed of the $hitblazer is about 35 mph. its like me going on 1st gear in my 400ex

Yeah, maybe you can go quite a bit faster then my "$hitblazer", but what good is that speed if you can't use it. I can go way more places on my Blazer then the guy I ride with on a 400EX can. No reverse and much lower ground clearence is not the way to go around here.
Now if we were on smoother trails or a track, he would blow me away. But there are not many tracks or mild trails around here. Just rocks and lots of mud. Even the 300EX does better then the 400EX on these trails.

By the way, I hope you take care of your 400EX better then you did your Blazer.

you measure a distance have someone time you with a stop watch from the start of the measurement t the end then divide the length by the time it took.
