I need some help getting my TB to have more low end power..without costing me a arm and a leg. And something i can do.

I've heard people talking about changing the primary springs? what does this do? and what type of new muffler would you suggest? I'd like something that really doesn't require any other mods..i've heard of one around school but i don't remember the name..

Also what type of tires should i get? And i'd if you suggest something please if you have one..give me a web address so i can know where to get it and see what it looks like..

My uses..Trails, hill climbing..and mud.

Thanks

I don't know what your price limit is but Ritter cycle has a pretty good complete kit for polaris for around 300 bucks and that includes free shipping. Ihave a friend that has recently installed the kit on his 99 TB and it made a big difference. He got the plain spring with his kit and he doesn't have the bogging problem on the longer hills that he had when his bike was stock.

as far as your tire situation i just bought maxxis razr 6ply for my scrambler. i am really happy with those but it all depends on how you like your tires to perform.

The best Place for performance is HPD at
www.hpd-inc.com
They will have all you need and the prices are there too.
There is also a company called erlanson performance that makes just clutch kit's for polaris(they deal more with snowmobiles)and they realy liven up the atv's

Did the RCR pipe make it much louder?

My gf's TB has the RCR kit on it. It's a fairly easy install and did help in the power dept. The silencer in the kit is loud though. Not like a piped dirtbike, but still louder than I'd like it to be. At $295 I thought it was a good deal.
You get a pipe, silencer, clutch spring, jet & filter. Plus Rick Ritter is a super nice guy to deal with if you need something.
E-mail me if you have any questions...
