I have been told that the Polaris hub lube is ford transmission fluid. Just wondering what else could be used for engine oil and transmission oil besides polaris brands. Anyone using something other than Polaris brands

As far as engine oil is concerned any brand of motor oil will do providing the correct viscosity can be found. Polaris oil is synthetic oil so finding a direct replacement will be just as expensive. For the amount of oil used in a year I stay with P lubes.

EVERYTHING in mine is Amsoil synthetic, including the synthetic ATF in the hubs.

Wouldn't make sense to me to spend $7000 on a quad and then put $0.79 oil in it and then go take it to the extremes that we do.

Protect your investment; don't get cheap on the lubricants.
