Just kidding on saying u have a mess.. U have a pile of parts I'm very familiar with.If mine that complete kit would be great, one order and done.Plus if you added things up separately, probably a lot cheaper to go this route.Again the rod kit is your call but I know what I would do..

Oh ok. Probably go with large set, and check on shops to see if they will do a rod kit.

I found this kit, not sure if it is any good. Little cheaper to do this and the bearing set, but it is a whopping ten bucks, and the complete kit has literally everything in it. Outlaw Gasket Set

You have a mess to clean up in the frame. It almost looks like a nest in there.

I actually got that cleaned up the other day. Nasty mess of oil, gas, grass, etc. The manual has specs for oil on this rig, but i read that 5w20 is comparable? Thought i would change it while it is easiest to get to.

You can put a pencil to it as far as gasket and seals kits, bearing kits, but that one big kit that has it all I would have loved to had that at the shop.If you're talking about 5w20 for the gear case I'd have to say no. Polaris Agl,Amsoil or any good gear case oil designed/suitable for chain driven cases usually have anti foaming additives also. You wouldn't have to worry about oil puking out the vent tube when whipped around. Maybe why you have that mess to begin with if the po used car oil.

Atf is used in t-cases that have chains, as well as manual trannys. Would that work?

USE the right stuff designed for your machine. You don't have to stick with Polaris fluids, even a lot of sled gear case fluid people use on both their atvs and sleds as the gear cases are similar.I've seen people use car oil,80/90 or anything they can get their hands on.And also have seen the sludge caused by this stuff when I had to tear em apart when they trashed em out.

So is gear case fluid a viscosity or a fluid type?
