Ebay listings may not always be correct when they lump models together. The kit you show is as good as most of them on ebay, amazon, etc.Niche makes good products. Cylinder head nut torque is 14 foot pounds.

Thank you

I found a kit that costs more but the interesting thing is which models it says that it fits:
2001 Scrambler 50
2002 Scrambler 50
2003 Scrambler 50
2004 Predator 50
2005 Predator 50
2006 Predator 50

It looks like the Predator 50 replaced the Scrambler 50, but used the same engine from 2001-2006. It also says it works with Predator 50, Scrambler 50, and Sportsman 50, which we already know are the same.

Here's a much cheaper kit that throws in a free air filter, fuel filter, and spark plug. The air filter looks a lot like the one from ADA Racing that I put on a scooter I had. Almost all of the 50cc kits say 2001-2003 Scrambler in the description, but some say Scrambler Predator in the listing.

And an even cheaper one. US $41.00. Approximately $52.76 Canadian.

They're both maXpeedingrods brand. I don't know if they're any good or not.

Same thing on the 90 2 strokes. Same engine from 2001-2006 but some years it was a Scrambler,Predator,Sportsman,Outlaw,whatever.. Just the body was different. This still confuses a lot of people when they want engine parts.

Yeah, I saw those but the shipping was ridiculous.

I knew they used the same engine in multiple models but had no idea what years they did that.

Parts have arrived. I started to work on it today, I got everything disassembled, and I am just working on getting the old gaskets off. It was too cold (-10C) and a little of a pain with the engine still in the bike. Is there an easy way to get the 4 shafts/bolts that hold the cylinder and head on out of the bike? It would make scraping that old gasket off much easier.

On a side note, there was definite blowby on the piston and a minor leak in the head gasket. Hopefully this solves my issue.

Use two nuts on a cylinder stud.Tighten them against one another. Turn the bottom nut to remove the stud. Same as using a stud puller. Use blue lock tie on the new studs. Use the two nuts locked together again, but use the top nut to seat the stud.OR get a cheap stud remover kit. Handy tool for the box.. Around 30 bucks.

-10C? It's not even getting that cold here at night. It's 7C/45F right now and that's below average. It got up to 15C/60F at the end of February, shattering the old record, then it cooled off and my tulips and lilies barely grew at all the last 2-3 weeks. Good luck on the engine rebuild and on the weather too.
