1997 Polaris Scrambler 400 4x4 Steering Stabilizer
Hello all! I'm new to this forum and Polaris Scrambler quads. I have rebuilt yamaha banshee (which I currently own and ride), snowmobiles, and a polaris trail sport 250, so I have some experience. Thanks to everyone for the wealth of knowledge on here, especially OPT, I've read many of your threads with tremendous amount of knowledge.
Anyway I'm looking for an aftermarket steering stabilizer / dampener for the Scrambler 400 and can't seem to find one online? I have one for my banshee and think its a must for trial riding. Anyone know where to get one? BTW I'm building this atv for my wife to ride and want to make it safe as possible. Maybe the strut geometry doesn't pull or jerk as hard when hitting little rocks or stumps one one side? I'm not familiar enough with the polaris to know.
THanks!

Nope...they will definitely benefit from a steering dampener...big time...
Try below for dampener:
Aaen Performance - Polaris ATV Accessories - Suspension

So I talked to AAEN and Rick Ritter this week about steering stabilizers / dampeners for the Scrambler 400 4x4. Both said the models they carried in the past are now discontinued. Anyone else have any other leads?
I really didn't want to custom fabricate a mount, but it looks like thats the road I'm about to go down!
Thanks in advance!!
