When im in reverse my polaris pops what could cause this and will it still be rideable? Is it because of a loose chain chain is kind of loose

 

Are you using the reverse override switch? Left handle bar on the switch housing. Exact location may vary by model, but it should be marked.

what is it for a bike? is it the engine making the noise or is it mechanical? if its the engine then as mentioned push the override switch as that is a engine cut out override button for reverse use only or when in awd in reverse.
