2001 500 HO sportsman, having an issue with backfire and intermittent shutdown with no restart. Upon trying to restart and diagnose I touched the fusable link wire coming off of the solenoid and it fired right up. Problem is it continues with the same symptoms and that wire gets very hot. My question is where does that wire go and what would cause it to get so hot with a shutdown issue? Thanks.
