Default 2006 Polaris Sawtooth no start

2006 Polaris Sawtooth has spark new carb, new starter. Timing is on according to flywheel and cam gear valve lash is .003 to.005 both intake and exhaust. Started a couple of times for about 3seckonds with the choke on but wouldn’t idle give it throttle and dies instantly now no start at all but has spark and gas yes I checked the idle jet clean all clean and clear new carb. Even shot gas in cylinder still no fire but has spark. Compression is good. I’m stumped any help would be appreciated thanks

Default New cdi now too

New cdi now and still won’t run I’m stumped. About every 8 or 9 strokes I may get 1fire if lucky. Anyone familiar with the wiring.

I have the wiring diagram but in our area we dont see a lot of the sawtooths around here.
Check the connections at the left handle bar switch connector.
Check the pulse coil with an ohmmeter. Black/white wire to green wire coming out if the stator. Should read 120-180 ohms.

Ok got it to go someone jumped out the Etc switch I disconnected the brown and white wire from the cdi and purs like a kitten.... tried the old cdi and won’t run so I’m sure it was toast from whatever they did. Now just have to find out where it is grounding out. It’s funny though how it still has spark but won’t run I guess it advances or retards it to kill it.

thanks for the help

The Sawtooth is the utility version of the Phoenix, and the electrical is the same, AFAIK. Look for the kill switch failure
as you said, but also there is an ignition kill signal when in reverse. Any of these wires worn thru could cause a kill signal
to get to the CDI.
