The pictures are super.
I would have paid any price for
one of those electric shield
defoggers. It snowed all weekend, mostly fairly
light at the cabin but 18 inches new snow
Sunday afternoon. I did get to ride a Polaris
700 for a short test. Longer track and paddles
made it better in the meadows... I need to learn
better technique of balancing machine in deep snow.
Is it possible to have single quality helmet
for summer and winter? I was using goggles,
fogging was a big problem. I need to get
a helmet for quad use, so I am hoping I can get one for year round use.

The Sportman is a older machine it came out in 96 but it win shootouts because of it's plush ride. The AC can be faster, more quite and whatever eles but the test riders alway give it to the Sportsman because their butt's hurt more on the other bikes.

Am I correct in assuming riders who post
here wear helmets when riding quads?
I have to admit that I do not have a
helmet yet. I hate the heat in warm weather.
I will correct this situation soon.
Anty suggestions for a helmet that is
comfortable year round??

Hey there! Remember this thing! The longest running topic far and away ever. I had to dig it up again. Took a while to search it out too. February I think was the last time it was posted on.

I do have an additional thought after
using my Magnum through one winter.
What is Honda thinking by making the
Rubicon full-time 4WD ???
It is way more fun in snow and slush to spin
the rear around in 2WD. I messed around on
a friends Honda and was amazed at how limiting
it is to not be able to switch in and out
of 4WD.
I still am looking at getting a couple of
AutoCats by hunting season, but that push
button selection of 2WD/4WD on Polaris
is just plain hard to beat. I will look long
and hard at the SP500 and Magnum 500 again.
