I have a 00 Kodiak and it runs about 55 MPH and is easy to handle and has plenty of power. If you say that the Kodiak dosen't ride well then you need to get on one, and I don't think that you would have to wait for it to catch up, unless it's not broke in . Take a ride on whichever ones you might want and make your choice then.

Corncob, you're riding with the older Kodiak. This machine is nothing compared to the new 2000 model, which is totally redesigned. Automatic, good ground clearance, push button 2/4 wheel drive, liquid cooled engine, good suspension travel, first automatic to have double a-arm front suspension, true engine compression braking, does this sound like the Kodiak you ride with?

ROOSTER your right that was a 95 or 96,it was rough and hard to ride, I think if anyone was to ride it, they would agree.I'm not one to say something about a machine, unless I have ridden or seen what i'm talking about.Hope the new ones have improved.COB
