Needing help to see what is best optionnto install gun rack on front of 2005 Polaris sportsman. Picture of front cargo cover is below. Much appreciated in advance.

 

Are you going to keep the gun in a case or out in the open? If it's cased it's pretty easy to strap down with ratchet cargo straps. I had a 2006 Polaris Sportsman X2 500 that had the same front rack. I got a Polaris gun scabbard that fit on the back and utilized the Polaris mounting system that uses, essentially, boat plugs to attach to the rear racks, or in my case, rear dump box. Worked very well. System is called Lock and Ride. Makes it a 10 second job to attach a box or other accessory. https://atv.polaris.com/en-us/shop/a...orage/2877381/
