Mike_S,
I'm not sure if this will help but you can give it a try. I just replaced the brake pads on my Dodge Ram and the parts store sold me a couple of little packets of lube to put on the back of each pad. The stuff looks like Vaseline but had a different tint to it. You might try getting some of the stuff and trying it out.

I decided to go ahead and replace my brakes. Polaris' new disks have cleaning slots in them and are fairly inexpensive. Mine were very slightly damaged (a single groove). So I bought a pair and put them on last night. I also have a set of EBC SV brake pads on order and will install them when they arrive. I will post the results after I have completed the job. Thanks for all of your help.

I have used the goo one of the above posts mentioned which is just a high temp glue and it seems to work well. By gluing the pads to the caliper and piston the pad will retract more and is less likly to squeal against the disc. I bought mine at NAPA and is sold for cars to get rid of brake squeal in them. The Polaris tech manual even says to do that for brake noise. They covered it under warrenty.
