Just got back from a 15 mile ride... works better than before but sometimes at slow speeds under pressure there is still a bit of a hesitation. This trip I had my 10 year old with me.

is there anything I can try to see if it will go away? Will adjusting the jet needle help? I believe it was on the 3rd position from top.

Its all experimenting at this point. All you can do is try position 2 and position 4. The higher you raise the needle though the more fuel you will use also if you get it to rich you will start getting gas fumes.
