To all Polaris owners. I just picked up a new
Trailsboss 325 and was wondering what "2x4
Concentric Drive System" means. Now, I'm
thinking that the Concentric Drive System
means "belt driven." Let me know.
What does the 2x4 stand for?

If u don't know what that means I'm not sure u know enough to be ridin the thing yet..
I't means that it's a 2 wheel drive belt driven machine..
Please be careful on the thing and always wear a helmet....

Concentric drive refers to the swing arm set up, The swing arm pivot is in-line with the counter shaft sprocket to keep a constant chain tension at all times, This began on 99 and up models I believe.

Todd is right. The concentric drive does not refer to the belt tranny. Rather, it is the chain setup.
The belt tranny is refered to as the PVT (Polaris Variable Transmission) on Polaris machines.
2X4 just means it is a 2 wheel drive machine. As compared to a 4X4, which is a 4 wheel drive machine. The 2 means two wheels are connected the the engine and recieve power, and the 4 means that the machine has 4 total wheels.

No southern life yet for me. Iam still in Maine. I move to Georgia in October.
Hey, what bend renthal bars did you get for the Scram? Are they the universal bend or did you get a specific bend?

Hey Lurch, You should try and get stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. working on the hurricane hunter C-130's !!!
I checked out the site, looks great.
P.S. I put 250R bend Renthal bars on my Scrambler, and they're very comfortable.

After a lot of research I went with the Suzuki Quadracer bend Renthal has, They are almost a copy of the stock replacement for the Sport and Trailblazer, They are about 3/4 of an inch longer and about a 1/2 higher. Great bars though, Not near as much flex as the stockers have.
