I purchased a 04 Polaris 500 H.O. I’m sure this discussion has been beaten to death, but looking for some information. My 4wd light comes on the speedo. With all 4 tires off the ground only the passenger side front rotates. The drivers side will move very little even Erving it up and with Hardly any resistance I can stop the tire from rotating. Both sides have power even know the wires have been spliced from previous owner. Question is does it sound like an issue within the driver side front hub. Also both cv axles rotate. Just no power going to the drivers side tire l. Thankyou keith

 

Mate a huge thanks. Picked up a Sportsman 500 today for cheap as chips as AWD didn't work. Did what you said and bypassed the broken speedo.
