Default Replaced choke cable

I replaced the choke cable. How do I adjust the choke correctly? Do I bottom out the plunger so it cracks open upon flipping the choke?

As long as the carb plunger seats when the choke is off, it won't be too fussed about how far it opens with choke on, so allow a bit of play in the cable to ensure expansion of cable etc, doesn't open the plunger when not on choke.
