Suggestions for shaving weight.....

Has anyone sucessfully shaved some weight off of their Trailblazer. Man this thing is heavy.

You might try the all protein diet, I heard the weight just sheds off (just kidding). Some of the suggestion I have heard before include:

1. Change the wheels from steel to aftermarket aluminum.
2. Eliminate the electric starter
3. Eliminate the oil injection and go with premix.
4. Replace the front bumper (steel) with an aftermarket aluminum one.

I have never tried any of these, so I do not know any details. Hope this helps.

You can also get the White Bros. battery eliminator kit. It still runs your lights and everything fine, but your electric start won't work. It's an easy way to shed 10 pounds.
