I'm getting ready to change the throttle cable on my friends crashed 2001 Trail Boss. I need a few tips. Does the top of the thumb throttle just snap off or is there something else holding it on? I don't want to break anything getting it off. On the carb end, does the cable connect externally or is it the type that connects directly to the carb slide? Thanks for any help! Oh yeah, where do you find the online parts manuals? BK

In my scrambler service manual, to open that cover "Remove throttle block cover by carefully releasing all the tabs around the edge of cover"
