I have always heard the Cyclone engine was a powerhousewith a very small powerband. Where the r/es was a more all around engine but had to have an aux fan to keep it cool or it overheated and lost power. The Cyclone chassis was what limeted it in the racing circles. Things broke too often but the engine held up. The r/es was less sporty than the Cyclone and it was a while before Polaris came back with a sport model. Maybe there will be a revival of the Cyclone name in a new rad machine some day in the future.

I emailed guy that posted his Cyclone for sale, it was on www.classifieds2000.com, i asked him to send me a pic. I would like to see what one looks like.
