I know i posted this in another forum, but i dont know if all of oyu get to all the forums. well........
About how long does it take to break in a Brand New ATV (about how many hour/miles) also is there a general speed that I shouldnt go above to maintain a proper break-in?

When I bought my Polaris Sport, I was told one tank of gas. Just don't hammer the throttle right away, and don't keep it at the same rpm for more than 15 seconds. The first tank of petro in a Polaris 2-stroke is also pre-mix. So run it down as far as you can before gassing up again. Then let it rip.

On my Yamaha 4-stroke, I was told ten hours before it was broke in.

 

I go 100+ miles to make sure it's totaly broken in.

 

Read the instruction manual for your exact break in cycle.
