What is so bad about the Override button?

I get what you guys are saying.

I doubt i will ever override it.

I think it is kinda nice. As i said i have a tendency to just get on..throw it in reverse and nail it!

wait? I thought the override button could be pushed in and then it would stay... by how i gather this information you have to have your thumb on it holding id down adn when u let off it disengages... this is stupid,.....i lu8v baking up with one ahnd its so easy,...I am thiking of getting a Xplorer 400 and i think i might do what boner saaid to do, get a tie down and then cover it with tape.

the one nice thing about teh switch is that it frees up teh rev limiter so you can go as fast as u like, not like my honda that it has to override switch but it still is limited to its rpm's

I guess the author of this post told us the real reason for the override. He needs it!

I just wrapped some electrical tape around mine to depress the button and it doesn't look that bad.
