Due to a screwup while on a vacation(checked into a hotel then decided to go to another), i left my 2001 SC 500 4x4 book. Of course they don't know anything about it (watch in a week it will be on ebay).

Anyway, can anyone help me with?

1. Valve Clearances? I know to use two feeler gauges, but need the specs.

2. Spark Plug #

3. Oil for Tranny, front diff, front hubs? Type and amount.. I have heard to use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF for the hubs.

4. Coolant mixture percentage..I may just change it all

Thanks,

Rainman

ok here we go

1. Valve clearence is .006"

2. NGK - BKR5E

3. Yes you can use ATF for the hubs (learned from a reliable inside source) however I run all Polaris brands. For as much as it uses I go ahead and spend the money that way there is no question.

4. 60/40 mix. You will pay a little more but Polaris sells it already mixed. For a few extra bucks in the long run I buy it anyway to save time.
