For once I agree with Stocker. The Honda 300 can take a h*** of a beating and never let you down. That is what I ment when I said Reliability. That will always be in hondas favor.

I've had an 88 Suzuki 250 since it was new. It has been, and continues to be a great quad.

It NEVER gave me the slightest hint of a problem. I have beaten the hell out of the quad, and missed most of the maintenence for the last couple years. I taught my son how to ride on the quad, and every family member for the better part of a decade has ridden the quad.

I just took delivery a pair of new Polaris quads this very weekend. The Suzuki is still in the garage with the plow waiting for another big storm. It really lasted, and still runs great.

Don't discount the Suzuki. From what I have seen the 250 hasn't changed much from the great 4x4 I have right now. I have had good luck with the 250, and if my Magnum 500 lasts as long, I'll really be impressed.

B/W,

Jack

Get the sp 335. I have that and a 500. There's no place the 500 will go that the 335 won't. The suspension and GROUND CLEARANCE is AWESOME!. By the way, it doesn't need a diff lock because it DOESN'T HAVE ANY DIFFS. Get the sportsman. No one was ever sorry for buying the best.

I OWN A 99 SP335. IT HAS ITS GOOD AND BAD FEATURES. IT IS MADE WELL, AND IS A BEAUTIFUL QUAD. I'VE DRIVEN THROUGH 2-3 FOOT DEEP MUD PITS AND NEVER BEEN STUCK. I AM A 220 POUND GUY AND IT PULLS ME AROUND NICELY. IT IT A LITTLE SLOW. (40 MPH)
MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS WITH THE SMALL FRONT TIRES AND WHEELS. THEY ARE SMALLER THAN THE REAR, AND INCREASING THEIR SIZE MEANS ALSO INCREASING THE REAR. (FACTORY WHEEL RATIOS FOR DEMAND 4 WHEEL DRIVE)
ALL IN ALL IT IS A GREAT QUAD. RIDE THE BEST BABY

I think we need to hook up the 335 and the Suzuki 250 and see which one pulls the other around, that would be cool because i know that the suzuki has a good chance.

I have a real good feeling that the Suzuki could pull the 335 around. Why you might ask? Ok the 335 has very small wheels. Downfall #1 for it right there. Then you have the diff lock on the 250 and the true 4wd on the 335 that would be the advantage for the 335 seeing as it is carrying around more weight and can grab. That is also downfall #2 for the 335 because the 250 has the power advantage even with the larger engine. It would be a fun match to watch but I feel the 250 could take it.

I am figuring(this is just what I think) that the 335 is going to go around 55 or higher and the Suzuki will hit maybe 50. The AC 250 is pretty much the same bike but that is about as fast as it will go so I figure the Suzuki will go about that.
