I read on here somewhere that on a Sportsman I should run a smaller front tire than back. I have a '99 SP 335 w/ 23 on front and 24 (I think) on the rear. Today I saw a 2000 model (335) with 24's all the way around. 24x8x12 on front. Mine are 23x7x10.
I guess my question is this: Will it hurt me to go 24's or 25's front and rear? The one I saw at the dealer was brand new and you'd like to think that they wouldn't make a mistake on that. Thanks, Drew

The dealers that I talked to said that the tire size difference should not hurt the machine in any way, as long as you do not ride on asphalt or hard packed surface. On normal riding conditions the tires will slip enough to prevent any problems. I have been running 25" tires on my SP335 for several months and have not noticed any problems.

You can run it on all surfaces aslong as it's in 2wd. But if you turn on awd on anything but slipery sufaces you could have trouble.

well you shouldnt worry at all because the only time you probably would need to tunr the AWD on is when your about to do some traction-less riding, thereofre it doesnt matter
