Two hard lessons learned that ya'll might want to think about:
Went creek riding yesterday and had a rock cut a valve stem. However I did have valve stems with me just in case. I thought I would have to break down the tire to install them, here is the problem, No tools. So using a tire plug hole reamer I pushed the valve stem into the rim (it was a pain, but I got to keep on riding). Second, when in deep soupy mud it was spitting and sputtering, I thought I had fixed with other means, however, it started doin it again. Turns out it was where the plug wire goes into the boot. Alittle dieelectric grease a walaa no more spitting and sputtering. O-yeah the dieelectric grease worked well with the valve stem.
