Gald to hear you got the key so easily, Kagey. I have the little plastic cover for the key, $5.00 from the dealer, helps keep water out of the ingition switch. Then I bought one of those clippy jobbies, clips at both ends, springy cable in the middle, kinda like the cable between the telephone and handset. I hear you can get these at the casino, but I wouldn't know from personal experience 
- anyway, one clip on the key, one clip on the handlebars, viola! no lost key! I also never take the key out unless the quad is on a trailer unattended, like when we go into the restaurant, etc. Otherwise its parked in the garage
