I own a 1996 SP500, with less than 800 miles on it. I lost a head bolt yesterday. is this a common problem.because theres nothing in my maintence book about it. would it be a dealer or company issue. (your thoughts and opinions aprecated)

wv,in my service manual there's a lost head bolt section on the page 56.It says if you lost a head bolt, find it and put it back.
You should have no problem finding one, since this is a common problem and there is always sufficient amount of lost head bolts available in the woods. If you are not familier with the lost head bolt re-installing procedure see the dealer. The lost head bolt repair will be covered under the warranty. The warranty for SP 500 is 6 months or 10000 miles, whichever comes first.
