Who plans on buying the new Sp700?

I am one of those seeing is believing kind of people. All I know at the present time is that there is no 700 on my dealers floor or on the Polaris web site. If any of theses rumors are true I would be very dissapointed to see a 700+ lb ATV. I may sit in the wings even longer to see if anything happens to the Scrambler line or take a good hard look at the Kawasaki 650.

I was 1st on one dealer list and second on another for the 700, but upon futher review, I think I'll keep my order for the Silver Grizz. I just don't see the 700's advantage over the 660. The 700 has 683 to the 660's 660cc's, 140lb weight difference and so on and so on... The one thing I see the 700 being better at is keeping all 4 wheels in contact with the ground. The 500's do a great job of this, and the video of the 660 that I saw just wasn't as flexable as the 500's. I'm assuming the 700 will be the same as the 500. The 700, despite Polaris's claim that you can't feel the weight just doesn't fly, the 660 that I drove briefly handled Kodiak like! That a major plus. The power will be equal to the 650 or the 700, at least that's my opinion. I'll pass this time around on the 700 and maybe I'll eat my words, but I'd put the 660 against any other utility in the near future.

My Dad's been bugging the dealer for six months to get the first 700 twin. My Uncle just got one of the Kawi 650 V twins and we almost got one of those but decided to keep waiting on the Polaris. The '94 4X4 has about 3,000 miles trouble free miles until this month when the brake needed new seals (and the tires are getting pretty bald). We're hoping this rumor is finally true. The weight is not a problem here. This is not a sport quad, it is used for work. And the heavier the quad the better for pulling wood wagons, manure carts, and skidding logs. I've loaded my rear rack to the max just to add weight to get better traction pulling wagons.
